Account executive

We are looking for a new Account Executive that understands the business objectives of potential clients and knows how to adapt to change. As an Account Executive at Workwize, your days are dynamic and consist of strategic planning, client engagement and sales activities. In the morning, you'll prioritize tasks, including nurturing existing prospect relationships and reaching out to potential leads. Later on your day, you’re following up on your pipe with product demonstrations. You know exactly how to showcasing the value of the Workwize platform and taylor it to the specific needs of the person in front of you. In the afternoon, your focus shifts to follow-ups, pipeline management, and collaboration with the sales team to drive growth. You’re flexible and possess excellent communication skills, making meaningful connections and contributing to the company's success. What You Will Do.

  1. Drive New Business Acquisition and Revenue Growth:
    • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, cold outreaches and networking.
    • Demonstrate the value proposition of the Workwize platform.
    • Negotiate contracts, close deals, and hit your revenue targets.
  2. Build and Nurture Client Relationships:
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers.
    • Listen actively to client needs and concerns, offering personalized solutions and demonstrating a deep understanding of their business challenges.
  3. Collaborate Across Departments:
    • Work closely with internal teams such as marketing and operations to ensure alginment with Workwize’s revenue goals.
    • Focus on process optimalization, both in the salesteam and the rest of the company.

Job requirements

Skills and Qualifications

  • 2+ years in a commercial role with closing experience, preferable in the SaaS market
  • A proven track record of achieving or exceeding (sales) targets 
  • Experience with lead generation and pipe-management 


  • You love the thrill of finding and closing new clients
  • Blessed with a growth-mindset and can-do mentality
  • Being familiar with a dynamic environment such as a scale-up
  • You have strong communication and presentation skills
  • Familiar with tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, HubSpot, Cognism and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to report on your activities, and know how to iteratively improve yourself based on your results
  • You are a fluent in (business) English 
  • You live in or nearby Amsterdam
